The Free Consultation
The first step is a consultation. There are three ways to take that step.
1. You can
click here to submit a short questionnaire. This
confidential questionnaire helps us get a preview of your situation and know when
and how it's best to communicate with you. The questionnaire is not mandatory, but
it does help us get some key information quickly.
2. You can call us. Our number is (617) 716-0282.
We are usually available during our business hours (9:30 A.M.-5:30 P.M., M-F).
Ask for attorney Nicholas Ortiz or John O'Donnell. If we're tied up, leave
us a message and we'll get back to you.
3. Or just send us an
email.
What is a Bankruptcy Consultation?
When we consult with you, we try to find out your story. We explain your options
and cost of
the bankruptcy process. Most of the time we are able to consult with people over the phone. We do
not require that you come in to our office to get the initial information that you are looking for,
such as:
Special cases: An efficient phone diagnosis of debt problems is usually, but not always
possible. If you have complex business, tax, or litigation matters, we will
speak to you initially for free but in order to truly understand your situation and give
you advice, we may have to spend significant time reviewing your documents and
speaking with you. In these complex cases, you will have to schedule a
paid consultation after our initial phone discussion.
We look forward to helping you successfully remedy your debt problems.
